Dear St. Matt's Family,

I wish many blessings to you and your family in the New Year and always. Even though my trip to the States was short, and I know I didn't get to see or speak with everyone, I want you to know that just being able to come home and spend the holiday with my church family meant more to me than any gift under my Christmas tree ever could. Your smiling faces, words of encouragement, hugs, kisses, laughter and new babies to hold have filled my cup to overflowing.

As I return to Belize and to my ministry and my students and their families, I go with a renewed sense of peace. I go with untapped energy I thought I'd never find, I go with your love and prayers and I go with the faith of one small servant to God's heart. In this New Year, I would like for you to pray for the following:

• Please continue to pray for me and all the teachers at Concepcion Presbyterian School. Pray that we look to our Heavenly Father for direction, love and endurance as we strive to teach, love and cherish each of our students.

• Please pray for my sixteen students and their families. Most of the families of children who attend our school are not believers. Please pray that they will be open to hearing the truth, especially in the upcoming Easter season.

• Please pray with me as I look into and pray about where to go next year. I have been invited back to Belize to teach another year by MTW and my principal. At this point, I am unsure of what God has planed for me.
